Saturday - November 12, 2005The Retriever Advisory Meeting started at 2pm at the Cheraw Civic Center. Nelson Sills introduced the AKC representatives that were in attendance. The members of the AKC Performance Events Department that were present were: Karen Reuter, Liz Arnold, Lisa Carroll, Lisa King, Connie Thomas, Lendell Pendarvis and the Director of Performance Events - John Rabidou. The American Kennel Club's Chief Operating Officer John Lyons introduced himself to the audience and looked forward to the 2005 National Retriever Championship.
At the RAC meeting there was an additional proposal pertaining to electronic entries. Due to receiving the recommendations late from the RAC, ballots would be sent to all Retriever Field Trial Clubs. At the NRC meeting it was announced that the 2006 National Retriever Championship would be held in Missouri at the Bush Memorial Wildlife Area (November 12-18). The judges will be Linda Harger (Mountain), Craig Stonecipher (East) and Robin Guillvan (West).
