History of the Show

2007: The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship was held in Long Beach on December 1 and 2. The Sealyham Terrier (Ch. Efbe's Hidalgo At Goodspice) won Best in Show.
Dec 2006: The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship was held in Long Beach on December 2 and 3. The English Springer Spaniel (Ch. Felicity's Diamond Jim) won Best in Show.
Jan 2006: The National Championship went back to Tampa on January 14 and 15. The Alaskan Malamute (Ch. Nanuke's Snoklassic No Boundaries) won Best in Show and Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Show.
2005: The 2005 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship was held for the first time in Tampa, Florida. The two-day format was also introduced at the event on January 15 and 16.
2003: The 2003 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship was held on December 3 in sunny Long Beach, California.
2002: The 2002 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship was held December 11, 2002, in Orlando, Florida.
2001: History was made and tradition launched at the inaugural event, held December 12, 2001, in Orlando, Florida.
