One of the most effective ways to protect your dog-and your home and family-is to use a topical or collar flea and tick product. Bayer K9 Avantix® is a topical water resistant solution that is applied monthly to repel and kill fleas, ticks and mosquitoes on dogs seven weeks of age and older.
In addition to repelling and killing fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, it also prevents biting flies from feeding on dogs.
Available through veterinarians, K9 Advantix® comes in four dosages: for dogs 10lbs. and under, 11-20 lbs., 21-55 lbs., and over 55 lbs. It is available in four or six applications.
